Young people know when we are not being authentic and not truly respecting and trusting them. I have worked with youth of all ages in many different settings, and the relationships you build with them are the most important part of developing trust and care, and truly living out values of respect and trust for young people, regardless of their age. If you want to shift your practices, find an accountability partner, or even just start out in the world of facilitation without coercion, I am here to support you in that journey!
My Offerings:
Becoming Adult Allies: A four-part series on trust based, non-coercive facilitation
We will discuss the role of a facilitator, and spend some time grounding in our values for ourselves as facilitators. We will then move into how to put this into practice, and tackle some real-life struggles you’re encountering (or wondering about) as a facilitator with young people.
Build Your Own Sessions for Schools and Centers:
Do you have a specific topic you want to tackle with your staff? Need some outside support and training? Contact me and we can build a session or series together. Pricing varies depending on length and prep work.
One-on-One Facilitator Coaching
One-on-One facilitator coaching focused on your specific needs and situations arising in your work. Great for folks who need more one-on-one time to shift their facilitator practices, folks who are new to non-coercive facilitation with young people, or who need an accountability partner to put knowledge into practice.
